Back on track.

So the website is up and running now, not 100% complete, but most of the way there. Will try to get back on track with my photos. However, I am thinking of changing format to photo a week, especially as I get busier with photo related work as the winter progresses.

Here are a couple of shots from early morning at the top of the crown range when I drove over to QT on the airport run.

website logo ideas

Ok, so I am looking to produce a logo for the website with the aim to be able to produce a bunch of stickers, hopefully including a vinyl decal design. Here's one idea so far, The font isn't quite right - I need to find someone who has illustrator so I can have a play and produce a vector based design too...
I also plan to register another more formal domain to use with the site too. One for the business cards to give to the business peeps. The ruvophoto thing is mostly for the riders.

Things have been a bit quiet here recently. Do not despair though, big things are close on the horizon...

Day 65 - 06/03/10

Went down to the Frew Farm in Southland for the weekend. The annual Farm Jam was on, some of the best BMX/moto/mtb riders in NZ/Aus/UK were there to throw down. These are a few of the pics.

Day 64 - 05/03/10

I decided to set them free. It was nice having them as a pet for a while, but I was getting fed up with chasing moths around trying to catch them alive to feed these guys.

Harvested some different chillies today. These are unreasonably hot! Thought they might be pretty mild so took a big bite out of one...

Day 61 - 02/03/10

Caught a couple of preying mantis in the garden. These creatures are so cool. Trapped them in a pint glass and have been feeding them moths.

Day 60 - 01/03/10

March. Horrible rainy, dull day when I got home from work, so decided to play about. Came up with a new technique for digitising slide films, using a flash, ttl chord and digi slr. With a diff lens that has a larger reproduction ratio, I could easily do this rather than spending $15/roll on average quality scans.

day 59 - 28/02/10

According to some sources, this is the last day of the summer. The weather seems to suggest it's true. Been grey all day. This is the evening light just catching the foothills of the Pisa Range (I think!) as the sun sets. hopefully the weather will improve.
